Service does not mean charity, self-sacrifice, people-pleasing, or being useful at the expense of yourself. It is also not status, career achievement, or external validation.
True Service grows when your gifts, experience, and lived knowledge become part of something larger than you.
Until who we are touches something real in the world - something will always feel missing, and we will keep searching.
SERVICE - The 4th Quadrant
When we reframe the same career, business or project from the lens of service and contribution - something shifts.
Our natal chart holds clues to that. The 4th quadrant - more specifically the 10th, 11th and 12th house - is the key to understanding how our personal path becomes meaningful in the world.
Astrology often treats these houses like disjointed, unrelated areas of life. Career. Friends. Isolation. But this doesn't' really help us understand what they're pointing to.
At the Astro Butterfly School, we call these 4 Quadrant houses 'Service' - an umbrella term for our contribution to the world. We believe that the 10th, 11th and 12th house are closely related. They build on each other, and together they form the map of what we're here to offer, where it is needed, and why does that matter.
